What happens when you lock editors in a building with Kahlil Joseph for over a month with lots of coffee and almost zero sleep? Apparently some pretty amazing things. Editorially taming a beast of a project such as Beyonce's Lemonade was no easy feat, but the Parallax team (Paul Rogers, Taylor Ward, and Armen Harootun) led by Luke Lynch, were able to do so in a subtle, yet powerful way. Together with Kahlil, our editors developed the creative and thematic backbone of Lemonade, as well as the most inspiring and discussed elements and themes of the critically acclaimed film - not to mention some killer sound design.
